![]() After lots of reading on different ways to change these VOB files, I decided to try an option that seemed easy enough i.e., I copied the VOB files to a different folder, and renamed the VOB extensions to MPG. These VOB are not recognized by the Windows Media Player, or by my Corel Video Studio X4. Looking at the files on the DVD’s with the explorer, each video segment includes several small files, and a much larger file with the extension VOB. ![]() After finalizing the DVD’s, they work fine others DVD players, and if on the computer, they automatically play with an HP player. With a Sanyo RFWZV475F DVD Recorder/VCR, I have been making DVD’s of old Hi8 and mini-DV cassettes – mostly videos are of giant scale R/C airplanes. ![]() To date, I have gotten by with my old version of Video Studio Pro X4, but I am ready to upgrade to X10, as I plan to again be creating more videos.Īlthough I did search for the term ‘VOB’, and found many threads and posts, none quite answered the question I have, or at least I did not find it. I just registered again, as all my information had changed since I last actively participated in the forum.
